How the sensing works

Electrical Capacitance Tomography reconstructs the field between boundary electrodes, needing no window or probe. One architecture reads inside tanks, pipes and chambers.

Recovering the interior arrangement of liquid, gas and solid from boundary capacitance is an ill-posed inverse problem, solved through electrode design, forward modelling and regularised reconstruction. It needs no window, no probe and no line of sight.

01 02 VESSEL WALL 15 ELECTRODE PAIRS INVERSE SOLVE LIVE INTERIOR IMAGE 03
01Excite

An electrode outside the wall drives a field across the volume.

02Sense

Electrodes read the capacitance between every pair, thousands of times a second.

03Reconstruct

Software solves the permittivity field and renders a live image.

Why nothing else can see inside

Every method trades fidelity for deployability. Ours does not.

Lab imaging
CT, MRI, X-ray

A sharp picture of the interior, bound to a machine that cannot leave the lab.

Field sensors
Flow, pressure, temperature

Deploy anywhere, but only infer what is happening inside; they do not show it.

Stage-by-stage testing
Inspection, qualification

Confidence built at one gate does not carry to the next.

Electrical Capacitance Tomography
Evandor

Shows the interior in a portable package that deploys anywhere and provides confident measurement at any product lifecycle gate.
