Measuring the World's Highest Value Commodities

Evandor develops Electrical Capacitance Tomography platforms that provide continuous internal visibility inside tanks, pipes, vessels and propulsion-critical environments without penetrating radiation, intrusive modifications or throughput compromise.

Measured · not inferred

Internal-state confidence as an operating advantage.

In high-value fluid systems, uncertainty is not just a technical problem. It drives overdesign, slows validation, increases manual inspection and constrains operational confidence. Evandor turns hidden internal behaviour into a persistent data layer for engineering, production and in-service decision-making.

Capability position

From hidden fluid behaviour to measurable internal state.

High-value fluid systems are still often managed through local measurements, indirect inference and inspection gates. Evandor’s platform is built to observe what happens inside tanks, pipes and vessels: fill state, phase boundaries, slosh, voids, gas entrainment, material distribution and flow behaviour.

The same sensing architecture can be configured for propellant systems, cryogenic infrastructure, production-line QA, storage, fuelling operations and multiphase industrial environments. Hardware adapts to the geometry; the acquisition, reconstruction and data logic remain shared.

01

Full-volume awareness

Observe fluid and material distribution across the working volume rather than relying only on point readings.

02

Non-intrusive integration

Designed to sit outside the vessel or flow path, reducing modification, contamination and certification burden.

03

Operational throughput

Built for continuous measurement in production, test and operational contexts rather than occasional inspection windows.

04

Shared data backbone

Common acquisition and reconstruction architecture adapted through geometry, calibration and deployment software.

Alternative methods

A sensing layer built for prime-contractor constraints.

Evandor is positioned where mission assurance, facility safety, integration burden and programme throughput matter as much as raw measurement accuracy.

Method Accuracy Non-intrusion Microgravity Throughput
Industrial CT / X-ray High Limited Limited Low
Ultrasound / OPAUT Variable Variable Limited Variable
Flow sensors / thermocouples Indirect Limited Limited High

Commercial deployment areas

Where internal visibility improves cost, throughput and assurance.

Evandor is not positioned as another inspection instrument. It is a sensing and data layer for organisations that need higher validated output, lower uncertainty cost and stronger operational confidence.

01

Production and QA assurance

Continuous internal verification during manufacture, fill, cure, casting and assembly so defects are seen earlier and fewer decisions depend on late-stage inspection gates.

  • Higher validated output
  • Reduced rework and scrap risk
  • Evidence-rich acceptance
02

Fluid handling and infrastructure

Non-intrusive sensing for tanks, pipes, fuelling, storage and transfer operations where fill state, flow regime and phase distribution affect safety and operating cost.

  • Spillage and overfill reduction
  • Throughput in hazardous operations
  • Cryogenic and multiphase relevance
03

In-service and mission confidence

Persistent internal-state awareness for high-value assets, helping operators make decisions from measured condition rather than conservative assumptions.

  • Asset readiness and sustainment
  • Remaining-fluid confidence
  • Reduced uncertainty loading

Platform architecture

One data backbone. Multiple fluid-system geometries.

The platform separates core acquisition hardware, application-specific sensor heads and the data layer. That structure gives customers a credible route from laboratory validation into facility integration, production QA and flight-relevant configurations without rebuilding the sensing stack from first principles.

Layer 01

Core hardware

Standardised sensing backbone with embedded acquisition and integration-ready electronics.

Layer 02

Sensor heads

Geometry-specific tank, pipe, vessel, material and combustion formats while retaining a common platform architecture.

Layer 03

Data layer

Reconstruction, edge analytics and QA outputs ready for digital twin and engineering workflows.

Layer 04

Commercial model

Hardware, software licensing, ongoing platform access and specialist data consultancy.

Commercial pathway

Built to reduce validation burden and compound deployment value.

Initial deployments create technical evidence, but the commercial value grows as the same architecture becomes embedded in production, assurance, sustainment and operational decision-making.

  1. Paid validation and characterisation Create evidence in real engineering environments while defining the measurable internal-state problem.
  2. Programme or facility integration Move from technical relevance into budget-bearing production, QA, fuelling, storage or system-owner needs.
  3. Repeatable deployment footprint Reuse the same sensing, acquisition and reconstruction backbone across adjacent tanks, pipes and vessels.
  4. Lifecycle assurance and data value Support monitoring, analytics, model calibration and condition-based decision-making across the installed base.

Evidence base

Technical heritage with deployment credibility.

Evandor’s technical position is supported by work in ECT reconstruction, high-value fluid gauging, propulsion testing and system characterisation. The website keeps the evidence layer visible, but frames it around customer assurance, repeatable deployment and programme confidence.
